Are you Rested Enough

Whether you're aiming for Olympic glory or just striving for success in everyday life, my biggest struggle has been erratic schedules and rebellion. When waking up early for Saturday Cartoons was something to look forward, somehow bills and responsibilities were born. But I've come to realize that having a proper sleep schedule is even more important as we age gracefully. When you raise your standards, you can achieve what you truly want. Raising your standards is not making yourself raise the bar, but altering outcomes.

I'm here to tell you that the second component, is to try again tomorrow. I realized i had become a shell of my old glory, but it was an unfair comparison because i was dependent on Stimulants and Enhancement. to top things off, i was younger, and as you age, your body starts losing small increments of energy. Here's my take on it: we need to recognize that some people are naturally night owls while others are early birds. Sometimes, we might push ourselves to wake up early when we'd actually benefit more from staying up later. Employers might still be catching up to this idea, but rest assured, some of us thrive when the moon is high.

TRACK IT.

As i spoke about it on Writing/Typing it all DOWN,

PREFERENCE IS KING.

The next thing is, that time is unique to you. As ive talked in "How I Won My First Classic Physique Show" There are clearly times where setting up on a journey to participate is not ideal. You either have kids, you have legal matters. Likewise, you have a graveyard shift, its always great to set down your baseline of 7-8 of sleep as you see fit.

The simplest thing is to allocate a sleeping schedule to our goals and immediate tasks. Once that is in place, I'd like to think that most of us are social. If so, you will need to learn to say no to friends and stay up with loved ones or lovers. hopefully you can do this without an extreme circumstance that pushes you to do it. As i like this quote:

"Do not fight only for a reason or stand defenseless without one. Instead, choose to fight every day for the sake of fighting itself. Make it a habit; the more effort you put in, the more you will gain." - Jorge MTZ.

Likeability and Consistency

You may be criticized by those closest to you for your consistency, and it will be challenging. This is when you need to turn off the likability button. Being likable without setting boundaries and lacking self-respect for your goals will lead to regret. If you're a people pleaser, it's time to change. Be likable in purposeful places, especially as you become fit in mind and body. You'll discover your limits and can stretch them towards goals that will brighten your future. Without a schedule that aligns with your road map, friends, lovers, and acquaintances may lose respect for you because you will always be the same and hence they will continue to treat you the same.

Conclusion:

  • Have and Constantly refine your wine down time.

  • Use sleeping Aids until your life is so great, you cant wait to go to sleep to do it again.

  • Set a Bedtime: Use your smartphone to set a bedtime and stick to it.

  • Never Quit: Track your progress and stay committed. The clearer you are about your goals and their importance, the more motivated you'll be.

  • Organize and Structure: Create and maintain a sustainable schedule, including sufficient rest and a sleeping routine. Persistent effort towards your goals is crucial.

  • Reduce Screen Time: Wean out of being on your phone, switch your phone to night mode, watch educational things that can bore you to sleep, but leave an imprint

  • ask your mind for the solutions so that it finds them during sleep

  • Don't take sleep for granted, we may never wake up again

  • Replacing and not ridding of habits: Read, reading has helped me sleep and get smarter, especially as it slowly replaced my screen time.

Let your planned discipline dictate your future. Take control of your actions and schedule today. Plan effectively and make your schedule work for you.For optimal comfort and efficiency, adjust your temperature based on your activity. During the day, a setting between 68°F and 70°F keeps things balanced between comfort and cost. After a shower, slightly increasing it to 71°F–72°F helps prevent that post-shower chill caused by evaporation. At night, lowering the temperature to around 60°F–67°F supports better sleep by aligning with your body’s natural drop in core temperature.
