Putting Your Money Where your Mouth IS!
Here's something I wish someone had told me earlier: focusing on how I eat and challenging myself to lose weight by eating less could have given me better and quicker results. Combining this with a regular exercise routine would have been even better.
When you take charge of what you eat, it means you're putting your money where your mouth is. You invest in good food and maybe some supplements, which help fuel your body and everyday activities, along with getting enough Rest. This sets a strong foundation for whatever you want to achieve.
It's important because figuring out what works for you can take some trial and error. You need to see it as experimenting with different foods to find out what fills you up and what makes you feel tired. Once you find a routine that includes foods you like, that are filling and low in calories, you're on the right track.
Instead of focusing on fancy gym equipment, the latest workout trends, or even supplements, put your energy into your eating habits. Get to know what you eat and where you eat it. It might mean adjusting your budget to afford better quality food. But the results will show – if you're willing to put in the effort. If you're not ready to commit to changing your eating habits, any progress you make with exercise will likely fade, leaving you back where you started like many others who've tried and given up on losing weight.
